| Description: | We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for a company supplying electricity, gas and heat to the residential and commercial markets – key activities being power generation, trading, infrastructure and sale of energy (electricity, gas and heat).
The company is a co-owner of 26 power stations generating electricity and heat with a total capacity of 5000MW and also manages co-generation plants for third parties in the manufacturing and horticulture industries.
This role will be responsible for the preparation and realisation of complex large scale projects, both new builds, modifications/refurbishments and maintenance in The Netherlands and surrounding countries.
Reporting to the Business Unit Director, Projects, this person will also be part of the management team of this business unit and also of the Leadership Group of the top 85. They will have 5 Project Managers, 10 Project Leaders, engineers and support staff reporting to them and on a project basis reports will vary, but will be anywhere from 10-50 project staff, both internally and externally.
This person will be expected to manage large scale projects of over €400m/£315m and must have managed large complex projects from €200m/£150m upwards such as power generation units, petro/chemical installations, oil and gas offshore production facilities. They will have 10 years experience at an international level and are likely to be a mechanical engineer.
The location is Den Bosch, The Netherlands, but a weekly commute could also be acceptable from locations outside of The Netherlands.
